Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions answered about our state-of-the-art repair centre

FAQ's

Where is Vehicle Bodycare Centre located?

We are located in Leeds at Cross Green Industrial Estate, Knowsthorpe Rd, Leeds, LS9 0NX.

What are your opening hours?

Monday- Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm. Please contact us at 0113 248 0481 to confirm current availability or to book an appointment.

Do I need an appointment for an estimate?

While we welcome enquiries, we recommend booking an appointment or using our online estimate form to ensure a member of our team is available to assist you promptly.

Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?

No. It is your legal right to choose where your vehicle is repaired. Insurance companies often suggest “recommended repairers” to control costs, but these shops may not hold the specific manufacturer approvals or BSI Kitemark standards that we do.

Will using Vehicle Bodycare Centre affect my manufacturer warranty?

No. We use factory-approved repair methods and genuine manufacturer parts, ensuring that your vehicle’s structural integrity and original warranty remain fully intact.

Can you help with the insurance claims process?

Yes. We work closely with major insurance companies to take the stress out of your claim. We provide clear estimates, communicate directly with insurers, and keep you updated throughout the entire repair process.

Do you repair Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrids?

Yes. We have a dedicated Electric/Hybrid repair bay and technicians who are specifically trained to handle the high-voltage systems and unique safety requirements of modern EVs.

What is "Structural Aluminium" repair?

Many prestige vehicles (like Jaguar, Land Rover, and Audi) use aluminium frames. These require specialist “clean room” bays and specific welding equipment to prevent cross-contamination with steel. We are one of the few BSI Kitemark accredited centres for Structural Aluminium repairs in the North of England.

What is ADAS Calibration, and why do I need it?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes features like lane-assist, emergency braking, and parking sensors. After a collision or even a minor bumper repair, these sensors often need recalibration. We perform this in-house to ensure your safety systems are functioning perfectly before you get back on the road.

What certifications does Vehicle Bodycare Centre hold?

We are proud to hold the BSI Kitemark (BS10125:2022) for vehicle damage repair, which is the industry gold standard for safety and quality. We are also ISO:9001:2015 accredited for our quality management systems.

Which manufacturers are you approved by?

We hold numerous manufacturer approvals, including Jaguar Land Rover, the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda), and many more. This means we are audited by the manufacturers themselves to ensure our work meets their exact factory standards.

Do you provide a courtesy car?

We aim to keep you mobile while your vehicle is with us. If you were involved in a non-fault accident, we can often provide a replacement vehicle through our accident assistance service. For other repairs, please ask our team about courtesy car availability when booking.

How do I get a quote?

You can call us on 0113 248 0481, email us at estimate@vehicle-bodycare.co.uk, or fill out the contact form on our website with photos of the damage for a fast, professional assessment.
